Schedule a Date and Time for the shop
◦ Generally, the date and time a shopper schedules is the same date when they plan on entering the report. ◦ All assignments should be completed within 24 hours of conducting the task.
This is to help shoppers minimize data errors and to stop from waves of reports coming in at the last minute.
Once a shop is accepted, the shopper is fully responsible for completing the shop according to our specifications. Shops which are done incorrectly will not be accepted and may result in non-payment.
◦ Dropping or flaking out on a shop can lead to a shopper becoming ineligible for more work.
Page 12:
There could be several reasons for this:
◦ We need your Social Security Number
We are required to report our contractors who make over $599.00 to the IRS. In order to be able to do this, we need this information.
◦ Poor Standing with the company
Shoppers who do not follow directions or make a lot of data entry errors will not be allowed to do shops.
Page 13:
Quotas
◦ At times we don’t need to complete all of the locations which we have listed as available. We often do this so we can choose our best shoppers, who then can go to the locations which make the best sense for them. Also some locations might not be desirable to any shoppers, so extras always help!
Demographics
◦ Clients can choose which type of consumer they wish to conduct research. This leads to Insula Research to find shoppers who fit these criteria
Common criteria are Race, Religion, Ethnicity, Income Levels Gender, marital status, and Age.
Quotas and Demographics must be managed offline, and therefore require a scheduler to assign and shop to a shopper.

Do not rush in entering data. Use Spell Check Review the report before hitting the submit button
Page 15:
Our system checks to make sure that the data being entered makes sense. If a report doesn’t go in, go and check your instructions, and check you data formats. Chances are that the reporting guidelines are not being followed. If that doesn’t work email us for help immediately. Don’t try to submit the same report for hours!
Page 16:
At this point if a shopper does not hear from our company everything went through and your report got used in the final reports. If a shopper gets feedback from our editors, it is meant to be constructive. Any concerns which this department should be taken care of as soon as a shopper can address them. Shoppers get a grade on their reports, but these are used for internal use only.

We send a check out on the 15th , or the next closest business day, of each month for the previous month’s work. For example, for the work done in June 2007, we would send out check’s on July 16th 2007. Checks are sent out to the address which is listed in a shopper’s online profile.
